Characteristics
Es Cubells is located on the edge of an impressive cliff overlooking Formentera it is hard to reach and remains a peaceful pueblo throughout the year. It is home mostly to country houses and farm land and luxury villas with a sea view.
History
It is also full of history, known for having its own patron saint. Born in 1811 Saint Francesc Palau or Pare Palau, a Carmelite, is remembered for building a church in this pueblo in the 19th Century. This, of course, came to be destroyed in the Spanish Civil war only to be rebuilt later, by the Bishop of Ibiza, as a church which began its service in1957. There is also a covenant of Teresian nuns standing quietly in the countryside that is sealed off to the public.

Es Cubells municipality is part of San Jose town hall .You will need to go to Sant Joseph town hall if you want to request the Referencia Catastral as well as pay your taxes, apply for a remodelling, construction or a tourist licence and apply for residency.
Schools near Es Cubells
Nearest private schools will be “Lycée Franscaise” located on the road going from San Josep to Ibiza, where all classes are taught in French and the school adheres to the French law. Also “Mestral” which is situated in Ibiza Town, known for it’s academic curriculum.
